Orlando, FL  ·  Application for Ramp  ·  October 2026

I open markets cold,
get to the owner,
and close it myself.

Four years of cold calls and walk-ins across more than forty cities — bars, restaurants, clubs — pitching the owner or GM and signing the deal. That is the same work an SDR does, minus the training. I also happen to be an AI-native builder: when the pipeline outgrew spreadsheets I wrote my own CRM, and when outreach outgrew my hands I wrote the Node app that drafts and schedules it behind an approval gate. The building exists to serve the selling.

01  ·  The record

Every part of the deal was mine, including the parts nobody wants.

Turnt Desi is a live events business I started in 2022 and still run. No territory handed to me, no lead list, no AE to pass it to.

Prospecting
Opened 40+ new markets from a cold start, sourcing and closing the venue in each one by calling and walking in, pitching owners and general managers, and signing the deal.
Owner / GM level
multi-channel
Pipeline
Ran a pipeline of 170+ venue and partner accounts in a CRM I built myself, tracking outreach, stage, and follow-up date so nothing went cold.
CRM hygiene
daily discipline
Automation
Built a Node application that researches targets, drafts outbound, and schedules sends with an approval gate, because doing it by hand did not scale past a few markets.
Builder mindset
practical AI
Revenue
Grew the business past $500K in revenue while running every step myself: prospecting, pitch, discovery, negotiation, close, and the renewal the following year.
Full cycle
owned end to end
Resilience
Heard no constantly and kept dialing. Most venues said no the first time, and a good share of the eventual yeses came from the third or fourth conversation.
Repetition
and rejection
The books
I keep my own books: reconciling payouts against bank deposits, closing after each event, running a per-event P&L against budget, and handling W-9 and 1099 contractor compliance.

02  ·  Fit

The language in your reqs, and where I've already done it.

I read all four open roles before building this page. Below is every capability the four reqs ask for, and which ones I can already point at something for.

High agency, high urgency Slope over intercept Builder mindset End-to-end ownership Cold calling at volume Territory development from zero Multi-channel outreach Account research & prioritization Consultative discovery Objection handling Qualifying to a next step Pipeline generation Quota ownership CRM hygiene Salesforce-style CRM Repetition and rejection Coachability Comfort with ambiguity Partner sourcing Conferences & events Practical AI fluency Advanced Excel Spend management Accounts payable Expense workflows Month-end close CPA track Account mapping Buying groups Partnering with AEs Procurement ERP familiarity

Direct evidence, shown on this page    Where I would be learning on the job

high agency and high urgency

Nobody assigned me a territory. I picked the city, found the room, called the owner, and signed it — then drove to the next one. Urgency isn't a value I'd be adopting here; it's the only reason the business exists.

everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end

When my pipeline outgrew spreadsheets, I wrote the CRM. When outreach outgrew my hands, I wrote the scheduler. End to end is the only way I've ever worked, because there was never anyone else to hand it to.

practical AI fluency — validate outputs before using them

My outreach engine drafts with Claude and then refuses to send anything I haven't approved, with dry-run on by default. I treat model output as a first draft under review — exactly the posture that line is asking for.

prior CPA or audit experience is a strong plus

I'm 30 upper-level credit hours into a CPA-track accounting certificate while carrying a quota. For a product that sells into AP, expense, and the close, I can talk to a controller about month-end without translating.

comfort with repetition and rejection

Most venues said no the first time. A good share of my yeses came on the third or fourth conversation — which is the actual thing a dial-heavy role tests for: willingness to make the next call after the last one went badly.

slope over intercept

Four years ago I had no sales job, no CRM, and couldn't ship a web app. What I'd hand you today is entirely slope. What I want from Ramp is the one thing I've never had: structured coaching and real reps against a product I believe in.

03  ·  What I build

AI-native isn't a line on my resume. It's how these shipped.

Every one of these exists because it made me sell more — more accounts worked, more follow-ups that didn't slip, more markets open at once. I don't file a ticket and wait. When the work outgrows the tool, I write the tool, and I use models as leverage on a draft a human still signs off on.

Outreach Autopilot

Node · Claude API

Manual outreach stopped scaling past a few markets, so I wrote the thing that does it. It researches the target, drafts the message in my voice, and schedules the send across the year off each market's calendar. Every draft stops at an approval queue — the scheduler only sends what I personally approved, and dry-run is the default. With no API key it falls back to deterministic templates, so it never silently breaks.

ESM Node · Express REST · scheduler tick · Claude drafting w/ template fallback · email + social channels · approval-gated queue

Charts from the operating model I built: a cumulative revenue build-out curve against a $500K goal line, and a revenue-by-tier breakdown.

The Operating Model

CRM + forecast

One self-contained application, no build step, that is at once my CRM, forecast, and financial model. Pipeline readiness by venue and promoter, a multi-school seasonal forecast with base / target / stretch scenarios, per-market pricing, event history, cash flow, and sensitivity analysis — and it pulls live event and ticketing data from an API to reconcile against forecast.

Bashline, a venue booking marketplace I built: search bar, venue cards with photos, verified badges, locations and guest capacity.

Bashline

Marketplace

A venue-booking marketplace built on my real booking history — 36 venues across 24 cities and 11 states, with search, filtering, verified-venue badges, capacity, and an inquiry flow. Rebuilt to match a reference consumer marketplace's actual layout after reading it live in a browser rather than guessing at it.

A 14-page B2B lead generation website I built for a medical equipment distributor, showing the hero section and navigation.

B2B lead-gen site

14 pages · SEO

A 14-page B2B lead-generation site for a medical-equipment distributor: shared header and footer injection, pretty URLs, per-page structured data, a server-side mail handler with a fallback, and 100/100 on technical SEO audits. One rule I set myself and kept: every stat, cert, and logo had to be real or it came out.

HTML / CSS / JS · PHP mail handler · JSON-LD · accessibility + SEO audits · caching and security headers

 scheduler.js — the approval gate
// The scheduler will only ever send what I personally approved.
// Drafts never auto-send, and DRY_RUN is the default.
const due = queue.filter(m => m.state === 'approved' && m.sendAt <= now);

for (const msg of due) {
  if (DRY_RUN) { log('simulated', msg.id); continue; }
  await channels[msg.channel].send(msg);
}

I'm training as an accountant on purpose.

Not a hedge and not a detour. The people I want to sell to are finance teams, and I'd rather speak their language than approximate it.

SMB is the role built for someone who hasn't had the formal training yet, and that training is exactly what I want. Partner Development, Accounting is where the pairing is genuinely uncommon — someone who has sourced partnerships cold and is sitting in intermediate accounting this semester. I'd be glad to be considered for any of them.
